The Soul was originally designed in 2005, but it saw its first release in 2008. Between the 2015 and 2016 model, there aren’t too many changes, but the Kia Soul received a variety of awards for the 2015 model, which is why they didn’t change much. JD Power gave the 2015 Kia Soul the highest ranking for a compact multi-purpose vehicle, and it also won an award for the best hatchback for families. Performance
The 2016 Kia Soul has three different models, and each one has slightly different performance features. The base model comes with a 1.6-liter engine, and the upgraded versions have 2.0 liters. The 1.6-liter model provides 130 horsepower while the 2.0 liter have 164. Each engine is a dual overhead cam design. When purchasing the Soul, you’ll be able to choose between an automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual. The fuel tank is 14.2 gallons, and the vehicle gets up to 24 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway with automatic transmission for the base 1.6 liter model.
Interior
